Day 1: Drive to trailhead & trek start
Scenic drive from Pokhara toward the trailhead, begin trekking through terraced hills and villages. Overnight in a teahouse lodge.

Day 2: Forest trails & mountain views
Gradual ascent through oak and rhododendron forest, with first glimpses of Machhapuchhre and the Annapurna range.

Day 3: Higher villages
Trek into alpine scenery, shorter walking days available for acclimatisation depending on your chosen itinerary.

Day 4: Approach the sanctuary
Enter the Modi Khola valley; landscapes open toward the cirque of peaks surrounding the sanctuary.

Day 5: Annapurna Base Camp
Reach ABC at 4,130 m — panoramic views of Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre, and surrounding giants. Overnight or same-day descent options.

Day 6: Descent & exit
Trek out via a scenic route, returning to Pokhara by road. Exact days adjusted to your 7–12 day window.
